I have one of the older Ipad2 wifi 16 gb models and was down to 300 MB space left. Looking at all the apps consuming data, I found my magazines had storage in GB's . As you download every issue of a magazine in Newsstand or Magzter there is no option for delete. After a lot of research on the web, I found no answers whatsoever.
So... here is how you do it.
1. Open the magazine app under newsstand or Magzter
2. You will find "ARCHIVE" on the main screen.
3. Clicking the Archive button will bring small "X" buttons on the centre of every copy downloaded, included the current one.
4. Click the "X" and the particular issue will get deleted. Note that all back issues bought by you are always displayed, but will need to be downloaded again, simply by opening the issue. The data however is deleted and voila you regain all that lost space.
See the " ARCHIVE " button in the middle right of the picture. |
Once you have deleted older issue press " DONE " |
Will you can easily delete some of the old issues of the magazine, I have here an iPad Magazine
